Partner Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your participation in the OneMAI Partner Program. By registering as a Partner, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, together with all applicable OneMAI policies, Nigerian regulations, and partner financial institution requirements.
1. Definitions
- OneMAI refers to OneMAI and its operating entity/entities within Nigeria.
- Partner refers to any individual or organisation approved to promote OneMAI.
- End User refers to any person who registers on the OneMAI platform.
- Qualified User has the meaning defined in Section 6.
- EMI / Banking Partner refers to payment institutions providing regulated financial services to OneMAI users.
- Platform refers to OneMAI's web, mobile, and partner systems.
2. Regulatory Position & Important Notice
OneMAI is not a bank, not a lender, and does not hold or safeguard customer funds.
- All regulated financial services are provided by licensed Banking Partners in accordance with Nigerian law.
- Partners must not present OneMAI as a bank, lender, or financial institution.
- Partners must not provide financial advice, investment advice, or guarantees of returns.
- Your role is purely promotional and non-regulated.
3. Eligibility & Partner Account Creation
To participate in the Program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- Provide accurate and complete identification and contact information.
- Maintain a valid Nigerian or internationally accepted bank account for payouts.
- Not be subject to sanctions, financial crime restrictions, or prior bans from OneMAI services.
4. Role & Responsibilities of Partners
- Promote OneMAI honestly, transparently, and responsibly.
- Accurately describe how the OneMAI platform works.
- Clearly explain that participation involves structured contributions within closed groups, not guaranteed returns.
- Avoid exaggeration, misrepresentation, or financial promises.
- Refer users who genuinely intend to participate.
- Respect Nigerian consumer protection and advertising laws.
- Follow OneMAI brand, communication, and compliance guidelines.
5. End-User Protection & Fair Marketing
- Do not pressure or coerce users.
- Do not exploit vulnerable individuals.
- Do not target minors or restricted audiences.
- Do not mislead users about fees, timelines, risks, or payouts.
- Do not present participation as a loan, investment product, or savings account.
6. Qualified User
A Qualified User must:
- Register using your unique partner link or QR code.
- Successfully complete identity verification.
- Join a savings group.
- Make a first verified contribution.
- Remain active beyond any applicable cooling-off or validation period.
7. Commissions & Incentives
Commission structures are defined by OneMAI and displayed in the Partner Dashboard. Commissions are based on actual platform usage, not sign-ups alone. OneMAI may adjust commission rates and may withhold or reverse commissions linked to fraud, abuse, or regulatory breaches.
8. Payouts
Commissions are paid monthly following verification. Minimum payout thresholds may apply and Partners may be required to complete compliance or tax-related checks before payment.
9. Prohibited Conduct
- Create fake, duplicate, or self-referral accounts.
- Misrepresent OneMAI or its regulatory status.
- Promise profits, loans, guaranteed payouts, or rewards.
- Use spam, bots, bulk messaging, or deceptive advertising.
- Collect or store user data outside approved processes.
- Claim to represent OneMAI as an employee, agent, or financial advisor.
10. Brand & Intellectual Property
Partners may use only approved OneMAI marketing materials. All intellectual property remains the sole property of OneMAI and branding permissions may be revoked at any time.
11. Data Protection & GDPR Compliance
Partners must comply with GDPR and applicable Nigerian data protection laws, avoid collecting unnecessary personal data, and never store or share user data without proper consent and authorisation.
12. Risk Monitoring and Platform Integrity
Partner activity may be monitored through referral analytics, participation quality indicators, behavioural trust signals, and fraud detection tools to support fair incentive allocation and protect user communities.
13. Termination
OneMAI may suspend or terminate Partner access if these Terms are violated, fraud is detected, regulatory concerns arise, or Partner conduct creates legal or reputational risk.
14. Limitation of Liability
The Partner Program is provided 'as is'. OneMAI is not liable for loss of expected commissions, user inactivity, Banking Partner decisions, regulatory changes, or Partner marketing expenses.
15. Confidentiality
Partners must keep confidential information private and may use such information only for participation in the Program.
16. Changes to These Terms
OneMAI may update these Terms to reflect regulatory changes, Banking Partner requirements, and platform updates. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the applicable national laws of OneMAI's registered operating entity.
